On October 8, 2006 Christ Community Church and Christ Family Fellowship voted to become one church. January 7, 2007 was the official kick-off of Christ Point Church. The two churches had realized they could reach this community for Christ more effectively together than apart.
Christ Family Fellowship was established in 2005 and Christ Community Church began in 2002. Both churches owned property on Rodd Field Road and the decision was made to sell the CCC property and renovate the worship center and classrooms at CFF.
Christ Point Church moved into a newly renovated worship center at 3202 Rodd Field on April 15, 2007 with over 520 people present.
