Mission 911 serves the homeless of Corpus Christi by providing shelter, meals, food, transportation, learning opportunities, and a place to worship God and learn about his grace.
We create a family environment for those who have no family. Instead of dorms, we provide seven small apartments that house up to three residents each. In these apartments people experience feelings of family, caring, and togetherness. This unity provides encouragement for self-sufficiency and healthy self-esteem.
Daily Bible studies, 12 step groups, and an on-site chapel focus on God as a source of strength, change, and growth. By combining spiritual nourishment with basic needs, a safe environment, medical resources, transportation, and help in finding a job, Mission 911 provides more complete care than can often be found elsewhere.
